|Countdown to re opening
June 15, 2020
We are aware that many shops will be opening soon and we are really keen to get back too but before we do so we want to make sure it is safe for all our visitors and members. So far we have been taking this opportunity to clean and refresh everything with members going in on different days to do different tasks. Windows and plinths have been painted and art work is being cleaned and repositioned to make it easier for our visitors to walk safely round in a one way direction whilst still being able to clearly see all the lovely things we will have on display. We know that many of our items are very tactile but now have to ask that you please don't touch them unless you are going to buy them. We will be incorporating hand wash dispensers for everyone to use before entering and upon leaving, along with clear signs at relevant points and screens at the desk. All our members will be wearing masks and will keep everything cleaned down regularly plus we will only be taking card payments, preferably hands free, wherever possible. As we are quite a small space there will be a maximum number of people we can have inside at any one time whilst keeping to the government guidelines of staying two meters apart and this will be clearly shown on posters in the window with markings on the floor to help you too.
We will continue to keep you informed of our progress and, once things are fully in place, will make a short video walking you around the room so you know what to expect. These are strange and difficult times for everyone so we hope to make our space as safe and friendly as we can and that you will help support our artists by buying their wonderful work once we open again.
If you have any concerns about visiting us please let us know and if there are any measures we have not thought about yet we will try to implement them too. Thank you 😊
